Dawn Intelligence was founded in 2025 by Leah Garrett, who built the platform from scratch with no team and took it to production scale alone.
Within its first year, Dawn drew government interest, went into a live pilot with a national charity that supports front line workers, and was invited to advise some of the UK's largest firms. Leah co-authored AI for Equity, praised across Europe, the US and Africa before publication, and was invited to Downing Street to input on violence against women and girls and AI.
Dawn is a British company, headquartered in London, founded by a Black British woman of Caribbean heritage. We think the people closest to a problem build the best answers to it.
why dawn exists
Dawn was built by a survivor, for the people who protect others. That is not a tagline. It is the reason the doctrine holds: Dawn forecasts incidents, not people. The platform exists so that the people who protect others can see what is coming, and act on it, sooner.
